Drug Awareness Training in the Workplace

  • Around 200,000 people in the UK go to work with a hangover every day (Alcohol Concern)

The Case for Drug Awareness in the Workplace

  • It is a proactive approach to employee health issues, helping to reduce illness, accidents and injuries related to substance misuse, and increasing health and wellness, and productivity;
  • It is also a response to external pressures such as government legislation and competition for companies to increase their corporate social responsibility;
  • The importance of health and wellness in the workplace is being highlighted at international levels;
